Maidstone Radio
In 2021 I contacted Maidstone Radio to see if I could spend some time with them to learn about sound and broadcasting. I was 14 years old and it was such a great experience. I was lucky enough to sit in and talk on a live broadcast!
ABC Maidstone old cinema
As well as A-level film, I am also doing A-levels in Photography and Sociology. Due to my interest in the past and present I contacted the owners of a local disused cinema as I would like to complete a project to identify differences in the past and present and highlight socio-economic changes within the town.
I am still waiting to hear of this is possible as the cinema has been left in some disrepair and there are health and safety issues. However, if I am unable to go into the cinema I would still like to look into making a possible documentary on the cinema and how a trip to the cinema has changed over the years.
